Innovative Project Developed in the Field of Sustainable Urban Mobility
A project proposal on innovative approaches and methods in sustainable urban mobility planning and implementation was presented to the Turkish National Agency in April 2020 within the scope of the Erasmus+ KA202 Strategic Partnership Programme.
Within the scope of Erasmus+ KA 202 Strategic Partnerships Programme, Ço:K has collaborated with the Middle East Technical University Built Environment and Design Research and Application Centre (METU-MATPUM) and United Cities and Local Governments Middle East and West Asia Section (UCLG-MEWA) from Turkey, Bremen City from Germany and Entrepreneurship Development Institute from Greece. The strategic partnership project, for which METU-MATPUM is the applicant organisation, aims to strengthen the sustainable urban mobility planning and implementation capacity of local governments. Within the scope of the project, vocational training programme and mentoring services will be developed for the experts who carry out urban studies. "Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan Development and Implementation Guide" prepared by the European Union will be taken as basis in the project outputs.
